KEBABS: MEAT, VEG OR FRUIT ON A STICK 

A tantalizing way to drive up the flavour of any skewered meat, seafood or fresh fruit is to marinate before placing on the grill (or oven-roasted on a rimmed sheet pan), for about a half hour.  To make the marinade add 1/2 cup Infused Olive Oil, 1/4 cup Dark or White Infused Balsamic in a small bowl. Optional for meats and veggies, add a teaspoon of Burlap & Barrels Kofte Baharat spice. Whisk together until blended. TIP: Go to MOST DELICIOUS DUOS for fabulous marinade options.

After prepping, cut meat, veggies or fruit in equal two to three inch pieces. Clean and peel shrimp, leaving tails on. Place tightly together on wooden skewers. Move the finished uncooked skewers to a rimmed baking sheet. Spoon the marinade over the skewers until completely covered. It may help to turn them once or twice suffusing all surfaces with marinade. Leave to the side for at lest a half hour. Preheat grill on medium-low to medium. Shake off excess marinade, then gently place skewers on the grill rack, horizontally, to prevent the skewers from falling through. Gently brush additional marinade while cooking, and turning so that all sides have grill marks. Serve with extra olive oil and balsamics for drizzle.
