Who doesn't love tender, juicy shrimp that snaps in the mouth with your first bite. Try our fabulous marinade that adds lemon zest and the deep, dark flavour of black cherries. And then eliminate the risk of the shrimp falling beneath the BBQ grates by spearing them onto soaked wood skewers. Avoid high heat - you're not grilling a burger - to avoid rubbery shrimp.

1/3 cup Lemon olive oil
1 tsp fennel seed
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp chili pepper flakes
20 large fresh/frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp Garlic olive oil
3 tbsp Black Cherry dark balsamic

Mix all ingredients except the shrimp in a bowl and whisk until completely blended. Place shrimp in resealable plastic bag. Pour in marinade and gently massage the ingredients. Let marinate for 30 minutes. Heat grill to medium-low. Remove the shrimp from the plastic bag and place on skewers one by one, crosswise. Place on grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer to platter and drizzle with Lemon olive oil and Black Cherrybalsamic before serving.
