3-MINUTE HOUSE DRESSING

Uncomplicated, quick, easy to make with basic ingredients from the farmer's market and your pantry. Perfect for any combination of lettuce and greens. Even without any other additions to your salad you can make a gourmet inspired salad with "two" ingredients: a fresh extra virgin olive oil and an aged dark or white balsamic. Use a measuring cup, or a squeeze bottle (it's better). Our recipe is basically 2 parts oil and 1 part balsamic. Doesn't matter how much you whisk together, the basic combination works beautifully.  For suggested combinations of oils & balsamics, go to our POPULAR DUOS collection.

Our two classics: a fresh harvest olive oil with our Traditional aged dark balsamic or Sicilian Lemon white balsamic. But the combo's are endless! Our signature House Dressing uses Lemon and Garlic EVOOs and Sicilian Lemon white balsamic.

Optional Ingredients for a variety of veggie, fruit or meaty salad combinations: fresh Parmesan, grilled asparagus, spring sugar snap peas, grilled/roasted chicken, finely sliced fennel, french orange quarters, fresh cubed mango, spring radishes finely sliced, fresh baby spinach and so on.

BASIC GREEN SALAD INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup EVOO, plain, fused or infused (less or more guided by 2 parts EVOO to 1 part balsamic)
3 tbsp balsamic 
Kosher salt to taste 
Freshly ground pepper to taste

OUR GO-TO HOUSE DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup Lemon EVOO
1 tbsp Garlic EVOO
3 tbsp Sicilian Lemon
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp anchovy paste (optional)
1/2 tsp salt (less if using anchovy paste)

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl or squeeze bottle add oil(s) first and then balsamic, Dijon and anchovy paste if using. Whisk or shake until creamy. Drizzle on salad. Gently toss. Store squeeze bottle dressing or covered storage in pantry.
