GARLICKY LEMONY GREEN BEANS LEMONY GARLICKY GREEN BEANS

Vivacious, these slender green ribbons deliver the perfect balance of tender-crisp texture while soaking up all that zesty lemon-garlic goodness. Each forkful is so irresistible you might find yourself sneaking seconds straight from the serving bowl.

INGREDIENTS:
3 tsp Sicilian Lemon white balsamic (or Lemon EVOO for zest)
3 tbsp Garlic EVOO
1 tbsp Kosher salt (+1/2 tsp)
1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
3 to 4 cups fresh green beans with ends trimmed or French cut with ends on
Optional: 1/4 cup sliced, peeled almonds or grated Parmesan

DIRECTIONS:  

Place a pan of salted water (1 tbsp) on high heat to boil. Add beans, reducing heat to medium-high, cooking beans until just tender. Drain beans and place back in pan. Add oil and toss gently until all beans are covered.  Add 1/2 tsp of salt and toss again. Add lemon balsamic and toss before serving. Season with freshly ground pepper.
