Despite the simplicity of a perfectly poached egg, preparation can often result in a messy egg with dispersed whites everywhere. We have an easy solution. No stirring water and no gathering floating whites. Simply a perfectly poached egg.

DIRECTIONS:

Boil 4 cups water in saucepan, enough to completely immerse egg. Add 1 tablespoon white vinegar. While waiting for water to boil, place a sieve over a small bowl. Crack egg into sieve. The finer, more watery parts of the egg white will immediately drip into the small bowl. Place the egg in another small bowl or measuring cup. Remove pot with boiling water from stovetop. Gently place egg in water. Cover for 3 minutes for a runny egg and 4 minutes for less runny.
