This dish combines the creamy and delicate texture of burrata cheese with the sweet and tangy flavours of roasted tomatoes, aromatic pesto, and our rich Denissimo dark balsamic. Think about this dish like an elevated caprese salad.

[Burrata cheese is made by combining mozzarella cheese with cream creating a soft and luscious filling that oozes out, making it incredibly indulgent and satisfying to eat.]

INGREDIENTS:
1 Burrata cheese ball
1 cup cherry tomatoes (or cocktail cut in quarters)
2 tbsp basil pesto
2 tbsp mild or robust EVOO
1 tbsp "Batteria-style" Denissimo dark balsamic
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Toasted slices of sour dough or baguette

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If cherry tomatoes are large, cut in half. Place in mixing bowl. Add EVOO, salt and pepper. Toss gently to coat evenly. Transfer to a parchment lined rimmed baking sheet in a single layer. Roast tomatoes for 15-20 minutes until slightly softened and caramelized. While the tomatoes are roasting, place the burrata cheese on a serving plate. Drizzle balsamic over burrata. Place pesto to the side of the burrata. Once the tomatoes are roasted, remove from oven and cool briefly. Arrange tomatoes beside burrata but separate from pesto. Drizzle balsamic over tomatoes and extra on plate. Garnish with basil leaves Serve as an appetizer or a light meal with toasted bread. Optional: Drizzle Tuscan Herb on toasted bread before serving.
