
STRAWBERRY BLONDIE SQUARES
These Strawberry White Chocolate Blondies are buttery, chewy, and packed with juicy bits of fresh strawberry and creamy white chocolate. Browned butter gives them a rich, caramel-like depth, while silky sweet Strawberry dark balsamic sharpens the berry flavour and keeps the sweetness beautifully balanced. Soft in the centre with lightly golden edges, they taste like summer baked into a blondie.

Heat oven to 350°. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Melt butter in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally, until it becomes lightly browned at the bottom, being careful not to burn. Pour into a large bowl and whisk in sugar until smooth. It should be cooled to lukewarm, then whisk in egg, vanilla, and sea salt. Stir in flour, strawberries and white chocolate. Scrape into prepared pan and smooth with spatula; the batter is thick and will take some nudging. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned at edges. Let blondies cool in pan. Cut into 16 or more squares.
