The quintessential appetizer, marinade, dressing or added flavour burst on any dish.

For bread dipping: Nothing beats rustic bread, fresh olive oil, and aged balsamic. Add 1/4 cup olive oil to a shallow bowl or rimmed plate.  Drizzle 1 tbsp aged balsamic over top, then sprinkle plain or herbed sea salt. Have a fresh loaf of crusty bread on hand.  And a few shards of fresh parmesan, too.  Heaven!

For marinade or dressing: The basic ratio of oil to balsamic is 2/3 to 1/3. In a measuring cup, add balsamic first, then oil. And whisk well until creamy.

For pizza, cheeses or sandwiches: Drizzle balsamic first, then oil and savour the burst of extra flavour.

For drizzles on dishes: Have a few smaller bottles of EVOOs and Balsamics on hand when serving any dish for an extra flavour burst.
